Birthing from Within Classes

Birthing from Within classes weave scientific knowledge and concrete coping techniques together with heart-centered, creative exploration to provide parents with authentic preparation for the transformative initiation that is the childbearing experience.
Classes are designed to provide a holistic exploration of the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of labor, birth, and the postpartum period.
Under Christine's expert guidance, you will delve into various topics, including the stages of labor, the role of hormones and birth physiology, coping practices, labor and birth positions, hands-on support, partner support, interventions, strategies for dealing with unexpected surprises, and how to navigate decision-making during labor.
The instructor highly recommends taking this course at the end of your second trimester or at any time during your third trimester.
Postpartum Support

As postpartum doulas we understand the importance of the postpartum period and the need for specialized care. As postpartum doulas, our approach is grounded in evidence-based methods and non-judgmental support. We recognize the unique needs of each family and are committed to nurturing and holding space for your experience during the fourth trimester. Our attentive listening skills and open hearts enable us to assess and meet your family's needs, empowering you to thrive. Our goal is to facilitate a positive postpartum experience for you and your new family.
Postpartum doulas provide a variety of support during the first 12 weeks postpartum, including newborn care education, basic lactation, new-sibling integration, meal preparation, light housework, and support with postpartum rest and recovery. If any of your needs are beyond our scope of practice, we provide you with resources and referrals to get them addressed.
